OVAR

Ottawa

Me answering some questions at the end of our presentation for OVAR last week. Actually, Clark did most of the talking as I am a big chicken. I did a turnout build that was projected on the screen behind me in the picture. Overall the evening went well and was very enjoyable, except for the few moments of sheer panic when we both thought the bulb that we had no spare for had burned out on the projector. It turned out to be simply unplugged. It was entertaining to see Clark go into full arrest as he was not aware that there was actually a spare projector there….

OVAR Presentation

Ottawa Valley Associated Railroaders

Last week Clark Kooning and I went up to Ottawa by train to do a presentation of Fast Tracks for OVAR. It turned out to be a lot of fun and I think the presentation went well. We set up an overhead projector and did a complete turnout build for the group, live.

As we finished up I thought I would snap a shot of some of the crowd that was there. I believe there was about 120 people or so.

First game of the year

Me playing in the trees as usual yesterday during our First Annual Quadica Classic golf game.  We played Innerkip Highlands, which this time of year offers some spectacular colour!

The scores will remain a secret….
