Looking for a Walthers Carfloat
Hunting for a rare model
Do you have one of these to spare?
I am looking for a couple of these, if you have one you would like to sell or trade let me know, they are a good match for this layout. They pop up on eBay from time to time, but the last few listed the sellers would not sell outside of the US.

I’m in Europe, if the seller you mentioned is somewhere here maybe I can buy the stuff for you and ship it to US. Feel free to contact me.
Of course I didn’t get the message. Oops. Sorry 🙂
Good luck on your search, i forwarded a message to my friends to broaden your search.
I am very interested in talking to you by email. If you find time.
Ron
Tim,
The last time we got to talk was in Detroit. I really was trying to see you at the Double Headers this past weekend BUT !!!!!!!! Next time. The Bronx Terminal looks great and the dog is cute too! You do such a great job with your layouts I wanted to see it before it gets published in M.R. They would be crazy not to.
If you find that Car Float on Ebay again buy it and have it shipped to me here in Buffalo and I’ll make sure you get it. I might even bring it up so I could see the Terminal Project.
Email me for my address.
My best,
Andy
Tim,
I am researching the same idea for my own layout and came across this company in the NY/NJ area which uses carfloats to transport cars today. I had resigned to scratch building my float and wondered if they could help give some info on their floats to make your own accurate models. That is, if for some reason you cannot find the kits you are looking for.

Good luck in your search!

Howdy Tim,
I am just checking in and saying hi…. I am also seeing your progress on your wonderful Bronx terminal. I may have missed it somewhere in the previous posts, but it looks like you are taking it on the road when you are done. I hope that you do, and get within 100 miles of Philadelphia Pa with it. I will come see it for sure. Do you expect to have it completed this year?
Perhaps FastTracks can attend the NASG convention this August. http://www.nasg2008.com I will be there.
Keep up the excellent work! (:->)
