  1. Your photos are really interesting. As it happens, I too have been installing Tortoises on my layout. I find that taking into account all prep work, it takes me nearly an hour for each Tortoise. Well worth it though – I really don’t like any of the other switch motors.

    Are you using your track bus to power all the tortoises? Or, am I just looking at a dedicated power bus for the tortoises right now?

  4. Hi Dustin,

    I will be using a dedicated power supply for all the DS-64’s, which in turn power the Tortoises. The wiring you see now connecting the machines to the main bus lines are for power routing to the frogs, which is being done by the contacts on the Tortoises.
