Shot this yesterday afternoon just before a storm blew in. This is the bridge over the Grand River in Brantford, about 20 minutes from here.

  1. Hi Tim,

    You were obviously standing on the CN trestle when you took this photo of the Lorne Bridge. I hope you weren’t trespassing. If I had a dollar for every hour spent along the river bank in West Brant when I was a kid I could probably afford to buy the Lorne Bridge. Thanks for the memories!

    Yes, that is the bridge I was standing on, I used it for yesterdays picture. The tracks have long since been lifted and the bridge is now part of a walking trail and has be nicely re-worked for this purpose. No trespassing issues! The entire area around there has been fixed up quite nice now, probably because of the casino right next to it…
