A Bronx Terminal Update.

Hi,

I hate reading blog posts that start with “well its been a long time since my last post….”  So I won’t start this post that way.

Its been a long time since my last post.  Its also been a long time since I worked on the layout project, almost two years.

The last couple years have seen a lot of changes, and while dealing with those changes there has been no time to work on the layout, so it has pretty much sat unattended for quite some time.

I no longer live in Burford, where all the layout construction up to this point took place.  Either in the basement or in the annex on the side of the farmhouse.  Bryn and I are now in Port Dover, Ontario, as is Fast Tracks (now officially known as Fast Tracks Hobbyworks Inc., but still operating as Fast Tracks).  The CNJ Bronx Terminal is sitting above a part of the shop waiting for me to return to the project.

I am looking forward to getting back to it, but currently have precious little free time at the moment, and probably won’t in the near future as I devote 100% of my focus to Fast Tracks.  Since the CNJ Bronx Terminal project and Fast Tracks are linked, I intend on making further development of the layout a priority when time permits.

In the meantime, a lot of updates about Fast Tracks and the CNJ Bronx Terminal can be found on our Fast Tracks Facebook page.

I also have a Tim Warris Photography Facebook page where I regularly post images.

Fast Tracks will be attending the Ottawa Train Expo this coming May 5 & 6, and the CNJ Bronx Terminal will be up and running in our booth.  If you can, drop by and say Hi!

Cheers!

-T.

PS – Bryn says “Hi”
