No switch points, it works similar to a <a href=\"http:\/\/w3.uwyo.edu\/~zeus\/crrm\/images\/3way-stub.gif\">stub switch<\/a> except this has a rotating section of rail instead of a frog.  The entire unit is mechanically driven to move the bridle and the frog rail in unison.
