{"id":1530,"date":"2008-11-07T08:56:13","date_gmt":"2008-11-07T13:56:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bronx-terminal.com\/?p=1530"},"modified":"2008-11-07T08:56:13","modified_gmt":"2008-11-07T13:56:13","slug":"z-trains-interview","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bronx-terminal.com\/?p=1530","title":{"rendered":"Z Trains Interview"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>About Fast Tracks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ztrains.com\/pages\/guest\/warris\/warris.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Ztrains\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ztrains.com\/graphics\/logo.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"76\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Last month I was interviewed by John Cubbin of Ztrains, a content rich Z scale online magazine\\website.<\/p>\n<p>The focus was on Fast Tracks as it relates to Z scale and some Fast Tracks history.\u00a0 John is an excellent interviewer and posed several well thought out questions for me to answer via email after a lengthy phone conversation.<\/p>\n<p>I find it interesting that we get such good &#8220;press&#8221; from online sources such as this site, and others similar to it.\u00a0 What is nice is that the interest is pure, and sincere as we are not major advertisers.\u00a0 The interest is strictly a modeler who would like to share what he is finding.\u00a0 Contrast this with the absolute silence Fast Tracks has received from many mainline print publications.\u00a0 Since we don&#8217;t advertise (we feel the web will take care of that nicely for us) there is almost no interest from the magazines, even though Fast Tracks products are very widely used.<\/p>\n<p>That said, there have been a couple good reviews in some of the more modeler type magazines.\u00a0 Scale Rails did a great review of the Modeling with the Masters turnout building clinic we sponsored in Anaheim last summer, Model Railroad News and Narrow Gauge Gazette did product reviews.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, have a look at the interview, even if you are not into Z scale you might find it interesting, and lets face it, <em>everyone<\/em> is interested at some level in Z scale&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>-T.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About Fast Tracks Last month I was interviewed by John Cubbin of Ztrains, a content rich Z scale online magazine\\website.
