Before I was into model railroading I spent a lot of time flying R\/C planes with Russ.   We both taught ourselves to fly back when most R\/C planes flew with gas engines.  Now the trend is electric, like this plane here.  Electric planes are nice in that they are very inexpensive and easy to fly.  The old method of spending a winter building a plane and strapping a gas powered saw on the front seem to be dying out in favor for the ready to run instant fun planes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Like trains, but they fly.
