A couple of blocks away is the new location of a transfer facility used to offload parts for the 100 megawatt windmills being built about 50 kms away along the shores of lake Erie.<\/p>\n<p>These windmills are HUGE.  Last summer we were down along the shoreline and stood under one, they are quite large and when looking up at the blades turning it is almost freighting.   The columns for the turbines are brought in on flat cars and offloaded here waiting to be loaded onto trucks destined for the farms.
