A Week in the Bronx
Time for some progress.
I am going to take the next week off and focus on getting some work done on the long ignored Bronx Terminal project. For a variety of reasons I haven’t been able to focus on it like I wanted to, but most of those reasons are behind me and I can get back to working on it again. (yay!)
The HO scale version of the project is to be portable so I can take it to shows, which always adds a great deal of complexity to the design. I broke up the master drawing of the terminal into pieces that will each fit onto a sheet of plywood. I am having the pieces cut out on a CNC Router with the rail lines plotted onto each section. See drawing below…

The cuts are all placed in areas so as not to cut through a turnout, which made of an odd shape. The sections are being cut now and I should have them later today. Over the next week I will post some more as I make progress on the benchwork part of the build.
