We had a nice dumping of snow last night that left us with one of those picturesque “day after snow” days. This is a similar picture to this one I took in the fall.

I’m tempted to grab the camera and head out to the tracks, but it looks pretty cold out there, and its nice and cozy here in my chair.

Ballasting TFM

Portable crossovers

Shortly after starting on the LaSalette module I inherited another small module that originally belonged to Trevor Marshall. Trevor’s Former Module (TFM) is a small portable crossover section that does not represent any particular location. I offered to take it on after Trevor realized he would not be able to contribute to the project due to other obligations. (wussy). (focused)

Tonight I spread and glued the ballast in place on the trackwork. We are meeting again this weekend for a trial run and I am hoping to have it ready to go by then.
