Car Carrier

I finished off the CarCarriers last night with a bit of stenciling on the lids.  I used some of the same stencils I had left over from stenciling the crate that the layout sits on.

They are now full of cars, 35 in total, ready to make the trip to Spingfield this weekend!

  1. Hello Tim,

nice car carriers. Maybe you could offer them in your shop.

  2. Tim –

I was gonna suggest the same thing! It sure would make carrying cars between myself and Dave Ramos’ layouts here in NJ easier! See you at Springfield on Saturday!

  3. Sounds like a good idea, eazy project to put out, ship flat and let the purchaser assemble. Could make some eazy money and eaze the demand on the grind mill machine.

Also if you do produce them for sale, make a version for longer auto racks and flat cars as well.
