In the meantime, a bit of eye candy
The CNJ Bronx Terminal layout will be set up and running at this years “Christmas Train Show” at the International Centre in Toronto, November 21, 22, 2009. This will be the first local display of the layout in operation.
I haven’t done much work on the layout since the summer, and don’t anticipate much being done before the next show, so there really isn’t much to post.
Just so you know I’m not dead or anything, here are a collection of images I made over the last couple months.
About the Author:
I'm your host, Tim Warris, a product developer in Burford, Ontario. Since March of 2007 I have been documenting the construction of the former CNJ Bronx Terminal in HO and N scale. For my day job, I design track building tools for Fast Tracks, a small family owned company I co-founded and currently operate with Ron, Russ and Scott Warris, my brothers in arms. Fast Tracks makes it fast and easy to hand lay your own trackwork. Stop by our website to learn more!

Lovely photos! What’s the locations for nr. 15 (BNSF train) and nr. 20 (Mine shaft)?
I also love the HDR photos! Looks so cool =)

Hey! You’re still alive! Nice Pictures. Looking forward to seeing the Terminal at the Train Show. See you then.
Hi,
The BNSF train is at Cajon Pass in California. The mine shaft is Cripple Creek, Colorado.

RELIEVED TO SEE YOU HAVE BEEN RESURRECTED !

I’ll call off the coroner…..
What a great variety of photos! That storm front coming over the fields is awe inspiring and frightening; it looks like the sky is collapsing. I don’t know if I have ever scene Time Square look as crisp and clean as it does in this photo, the amount of yellow from the taxis is perfectly balanced with everything else, Bravo!
My fav is the first one- with the three tracks. Nice and moody
Layout looks great Tim, a lot of progress since I saw it last year in Brampton.
The photos are great, what were they shot with? How much ‘photoshopping’ is going on?
Have a Happy New Year!
