Laying it on thick

Painting ceilings

120807.jpg

Been spending the last few days painting the buildings interior. I was a professional painter for many years before becoming a tool and die maker and there was no way we were going to pay someone else to paint this building!

The entire ceiling, joists, wires, ducts and pipes were painted all in one shot the same color. We didn’t want to install a ceiling as we would prefer to have access to the stuff up there so we decided to simply paint it all.

It went easier than I anticipated and only took a few evenings, and a few weekends. With this now finished we will be adding in all the workbenches and other fittings. Should be moved in by the end of August!
