  2. Hi,

    Yes, all automatic points on turnouts in Canada are heated. Thats what those gray devices are to the side of the turnouts. They are hooked up to a gas line and blow heat down a duct between the rails keeping the points clear of snow and ice. They were both running when I too this picture. Would not want to pay for all that natural gas!
