Double Diamond

Woodstock, Ontario

I had to drive down to Woodstock this afternoon to pick up a wood chipper and found this great train watching spot right beside the road. I had no idea an active double diamond existed in Southern Ontario.

Truck

Jordan Miniatures Truck

Have I mentioned before that I love these little kits? Jordan Minatures vehicles are great little models, and offer a good collection of vehicles from the 1910’s to the 1940’s. This Ford truck I built a few years back for my Port Kelsey layout, it now sits on my LaSalette Free-mo module.

We bought a new macro lens for documentation work and I tried it out here for a close up shot. Works great and is almost a microscope! Can shoot almost to the surface of the lens at f55. This shot has the truck about 3 inches away from the lens at a fairly low f stop.
