Doubleheaders Tour ’08

Set up next to us on Saturday was a great collection of Lionel trains, cleverly set at eye level for kids.  Needless to say it was a magnet for the kids and very popular.  I watched them for some time and I can certainly see why Lionel Trains attracted so many to the hobby in the early years, they are just so dramatic and mesmerizing to watch!

Layout Tour

The Bronx Terminal layout set up at the registration building for the Doubleheaders Layout Tour yesterday. It was a good day with 850 people signing up for the tour.

Old and Tired

Stack of old tires jammed into the back of a truck. This was two years ago, so they are probably condoms or something by now.

I hope they remove the steel belts first.
