Mid 1960-s

Found on YouTube, this will mess up 20 minutes of your day. This video was all shot around here in the mid-1960’s, Brantford and Paris Ontario and is a real treat to watch, especially if you are from the area as there are lots of recognizable features.

At about the 17 minute mark there is some interesting footage of moving the train station in Scotland, Ontario, which is a couple minutes from here.

Enjoy!

Down on the (corporate) Farm

Spring planting.

There has been all sorts of weird equipment working the fields behind and beside our house this weekend. This is the only one that actually looks like a tractor, I have no idea what the others were. All the land around here is leased to a large corporate operation and is farmed very quickly with what looks like real expensive equipment. The plow was 60′ across!
