Prototype Double Slipover
Union Station, Toronto
This scene will be familiar to anyone who has walked from Front St. to the CN Tower in Toronto. Below the walkway is the throat to Union Station and it is filled with double slip switches. Here is a great example of a prototype “Double Slipover“, a crossover with slip switches instead of turnouts.
