Rainy Fall Day

Its starting to feel like autumn here now after an unusually warm October. Nice rainy day makes for good pictures of the fall colour. Although it isn’t as colourful as last year.

Wire worker

On the train back from Ottawa last week, out of boredom I was shooting pictures out of the window of stuff whizzing by. We passed a bunch of electrical towers, shown in the picture above. Once I took a closer look I realized there were people way up there maintaining the equipment. This friendly guy was putting on a bit of a show for us, although I doubt anyone could see him. I magnified and enhanced the image quite a bit to bring out the detail.
