Video Shoot

A couple weeks ago we re-shot all our Fast Tracks videos, they were starting to get a bit stale.  This gave us a chance to signifigantly increase the amount of videos we have on the Fast Tracks site, including many of the new products we have released since the last batch where filmed.

Here we are setting up for the PlatForm video shoot.  PlatForms are a new product line we released this past summer.  They are used for 1:1 track planning and are laser cut track “templates” that match every possible turnout and switch size, plus a large library of straight, curved, easements, flexible and variable length pieces.  About 5000 parts in all!

The video being shot in this image can be seen here…

Re-Motoring Completed

Completed enough.

I’m trying a new gallery tool, if it does anything funny let me know.  Click on the pictures for large versions.

Last evening I finished re-assembling the engine and soldering on a few missing parts.  I think this is as far as I will go with this for now as I want to get some other things completed before the next train show.

It runs great!  Nice and smooth with excellent slow speed performance.  This is with DC, once I install a good decoder with back EMF that performance will get even better.

I have a video of it running, if I can get it uploaded I will add it here.
