Old Port

Nothing new, so something old…

Soon I expect to be back at work on the Bronx Terminal, until then I find I am having to dig deep in my archives to find Picture of the Day fodder.

This one goes way back, probably 2005 or so.  This image was stitched together from about 25 images using Helicon Focus software to get a sharp focus through the entire image.

We all shine on

Unusual Graffiti

040908.jpg

I pass under this bridge often and always liked this little bit of graffiti.  Unlike the usual idiotic blather and hedious tagging, hidden on this bridge is the understated line “We all shine on….”

I love clever graffiti. (harsh language)

Assembly Video

Elevated Crossing Tower

Elevated Crossing Tower I have been playing with lately.

Animated visual instruction is much easier to follow then still images or written explanations, and have the advantage of being understood in any language, which in the world of the internet is a valuable asset.

What do you think, would this kind of documentation be valuable to you on an included DVD or website?
