2008 NMRA Train Show Anaheim, California

From the other side of the table.

Well another one in the can! The 2008 Train Show in Anaheim, California was a lot of work, and a lot of fun, like always…

While there I took 500 pictures. Today I narrowed them down to about 100 or so and organized them into easily navigated galleries. Each group of pictures is categorized into its own gallery, simply click on the image to open the gallery. Click on the first image then use the arrow keys to navigate back and fourth between images.

Dancing

Dancing

The description below I got from NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day site. I felt they summed it up this interesting video perfectly. Make sure you watch it with sound.

What are these humans doing? Dancing. Many humans on Earth exhibit periods of happiness, and one method of displaying happiness is dancing. Happiness and dancing transcend political boundaries and occur in practically every human society. Above, Matt Harding traveled through many nations on Earth, started dancing, and filmed the result. The video is perhaps a dramatic example that humans from all over planet Earth feel a common bond as part of a single species. Happiness is frequently contagious — few people are able to watch the video below without smiling.

We leave in the morning to fly into LA, then down to Anaheim and the NMRA Train Show. It looks like everything we have shipped in the last few weeks has arrived, the only thing left to ship is ourselves!

Drop by and say hi if you are coming to the show!
