brantford train station

A favorite train watching spot in the area is the platform of the still in use Brantford train station.  Lots of action here on a typical day, and to cap it off, a model railroad train shop in the station!  (although not for much longer….)

High Speed Trains

Doubleheaders Tour ’08

Set up next to us on Saturday was a great collection of Lionel trains, cleverly set at eye level for kids.  Needless to say it was a magnet for the kids and very popular.  I watched them for some time and I can certainly see why Lionel Trains attracted so many to the hobby in the early years, they are just so dramatic and mesmerizing to watch!

Looking for a Walthers Carfloat

Hunting for a rare model

Car Float

Do you have one of these to spare?

I am looking for a couple of these, if you have one you would like to sell or trade let me know, they are a good match for this layout. They pop up on eBay from time to time, but the last few listed the sellers would not sell outside of the US.
