Rust never sleeps…

I settled on a finish for the fascia on the layout. Rusty.

Its finished and turned out pretty good. If you want to see more you will have to come to the Doubleheaders Layout Tour tomorrow.  When I get a chance I will post some shots of the process used to create this effect.

  3. Holy smoke, I have a love/hate relationship with this blog: I love the modeling and blog content, I hate how quickly and how terrifically you execute stuff like this. It would have taken me six months to even get around to doing a test patch. The fascia is awesome.

  5. That turned out very well!! I like the rivets. Sad that I live so far away from you. Otherwise I absolutely had visited Doubleheaders Layout Tour.
