Day 22
Walls!
Well, wall.
That was 20 minutes ago, but at the pace they seem to be working the framework might be done now.
A few more pictures today….
I told them that it was facing the wrong way, we wanted the walls to point up.
They asked me to leave.
I hid behind the tree while they straightened it out. They eventually got it the right way. Good thing I was there…..
Now its starting to look like the picture.
Eastern view.
We have been debating on the colour scheme for the finished building. After looking at the samples and various steel buildings in the area, I believe a traditional Red Barn look would work best. Here is a shot of one not too far from here and I think the classic red with white trim and a green roof should look ok.
What do you think?

It don’t do no man no harm…
To have a plump wife, and a big (red) barn.
You just can’t go wrong with red, white and a green roof on a barn. What’s more pastoral then that? You just need to add the chicken coop, lean-to for the tractor and a manure pile and voila! Gentleman Farmer.
