Prototype Crossings (Diamonds)
Images from my small collection.
I’m a trackwork junkie, if you hadn’t noticed. When possible I search out unusual pieces of trackwork and have been building a bit of a collection of images. Here are a few crossing or diamond crossing images I have either taken or have found online. Diamonds are increasingly rare as they require a lot of maintenance, more often the pieces I find are laying beside the roadbed and no longer in use. If you have any interesting images of trackwork I would love to see it. Contact me if you have some to share, perhaps I can set up a page for interesting trackwork uploads…
