Insulation installation…

Finally, some progress back there. Yesterday three poor souls installed the insulation in the steamy hot building. Now that it is complete it is dramatically cooler in there. I could not imagine a worse task in the extremely hot weather we get here in the summer.

Must have done it right, the county inspector was here this morning and added another encouraging “Passed” inspection tag to the collection.

Bird update

Now there are three…

What a difference a couple of days, and a few hundred worms make! Compare this shot of nesting robins in our rosebush with one taken five days ago

There were initially four in the nest, but this morning we noticed only three. Guess one found it too crowded and walked off…
